Odisha Reports 2,806 Fresh COVID Cases

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): Odisha lodged 2,806 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours and added 61 more fatalities due to the virus to its toll.

Of fresh infections, 1613 were reported from different quarantine centres and 1193 were the local contacts, informed State Information & Public Relation Department today.

While Khordha district continues to be in top place with 590 single-day COVID cases followed by Cuttack district with 441 cases, Jajpur district reported 252 fresh cases in a single day. With this, the COVID tally surged to 9,35,136 with 27,429 active cases in Odisha so far.
