Odisha Logs 242 Fresh COVID Infections

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): The daily COVID caseload in Odisha remained above 200 for the fourth consecutive day today as 242 more people tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours. These cases have been reported from 19 districts and 45 among them are in the 0-18 years age group.
While 229 new infections were detected yesterday, the state had reported 226 infections on Wednesday, 206 on Tuesday, and 185 on Monday.
According to the I & PR department, 141 of the new cases are from quarantine and 101 local contacts. Khordha saw the highest 120 fresh infections, followed by Mayurbhanj (24) and Cuttack (18).
