Odisha Govt to Regularise Jobs of 13,000 Junior Teachers

Bhubaneswar: In a Teachers’ Day announcement, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi declared that the state government will regularise the jobs of over 13,000 schematic junior teachers appointed in 2025.

The announcement was welcomed by members of the Odisha Schematic Junior Teachers’ Association, who met the Chief Minister at the State Guest House in Bhubaneswar and expressed their gratitude for the decision. They also lauded the government’s proactive measures to strengthen primary education in the state.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister urged teachers to uphold their duty of imparting quality education. “We will face many challenges in life, but they must be treated as opportunities. Under no circumstances should a teacher forget his or her responsibility towards students,” Majhi said.
