Odisha Govt increases allocation for dresses of Anganwadi students

Bhubaneswar: Odisha government has recently increased the allocation for Anganwadi students’ dresses. The department announced this at a programme for women and child development today.
The allocation for clothes for preschool children in Odisha has been enhanced under the Malati Devi Preschool scheme.

As per the information, government expenditure on clothes and shoes will increase. Earlier, the allocation for a male student’s clothes was Rs 100, which has now been increased to Rs 175.
Similarly, the allocation for a girl student’s clothes has been increased from Rs 150 to Rs 250. The cost of shoes has also been increased from Rs 100 to Rs 150.
