Odisha: COVID-19 Vaccine Shortage Hits Vaccination In Berhampur

Berhampur (Reporters Today Bureau): In Odisha’s Berhampur COVID-19 vaccination came to a halt yesterday due to all vaccine centres in the town remained closed due to a shortage of vaccine.

As per reports, due to lack of vaccine in the town, notice was put up at a vaccine centre mentioning its closure. In the notice, it was mentioned that the centre will remain closed on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Additional Chief Secretary (Health) PK Mohapatra had yesterday written to Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan requesting for the supply of at least 15 lakh doses of COVID-19 vaccine to the state immediately
