Odisha CM unveils Odia Calendar 2025-26

Puri: The Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi on Sunday unveiled the Odia calendar 2025-26 at Puri. The price of the calendar has been decided at Rs 100.

The Odisha CM visited Puri this morning and paid obeisance to Lord Jagannath and his siblings at the Srimandir in Puri.  Following the visit to the temple, he inaugurated the Odia calendar 2025-26.

He was accompanied by Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan and Revenue &Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari. SJTA Chief Administrator Arabinda Kumar Padhee, SP Vinit Agrawal and the Chief Secretary of Odisha CM Manoj Ahuja were also present during the release of the Odia calendar.

As per the decision of the Shree Jagannatha Temple Administration (SJTA) the price of the calendar along with the cover has been fixed at Rs 100. Prior to the unveiling ceremony, the Odia calendar was dedicated to the Lords.

The calendars will be sold in all the respective places from today onwards. Ahead of the Odia New Year 2025 that falls on April 14 this year the Odia calendar was released. The Odia New Year is celebrated as Maha Visuba Sankranti and Hanuman Jayanti or Pana Sankranti.
