OAS reshuffle in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Odisha government today effected reshuffle among the Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) officers and gave new appointments to a total of nine officials.

The General Administration & Public Grievance (GA&PG) Department has issued a notification over the OAS officers’ reshuffle. Check full details below:

1. Gangadhar Nayak,OAS (SS), Director, Housing & Ex-officio Special Secretary to Government, H & UD. Department is posted as MD, Odisha Urban Housing Board (OUHB), Bhubaneswar and MD. Odisha Rural Housing & Development Corporation (ORHDC)-cum-Special Secretary to Government, H & UD Department
2. Subhananda Mohapatra, OAS (SAG), Additional Secretary to Government, H & UD Department is posted as Director, Housing-cum-ex-Officio Additional Secretary to Government. H & U.D. Department.
3. Rajani Kanta Swain, OAS (SAG) Additional Secretary. Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission, Bhubaneswar is posted as Secretary, Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission, Bhubaneswar.
4. Bishnupriya Sahoo, OAS (SAG), Additional Secretary to Government. 1 & PR Department is transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to Government, Co-operation Department
5. Ashok Kumar Behuna, OAS (SAG), Ex-CDO-cum-EO, Zilla Parishad, Jajpur, now joined in GA & PG Department, is posted as Additional Secretary to Government. I & PR Department
6. Gayatri Datta Nayak, OAS (S), C.G.M. Orissa State Disaster Mitigation Authority (OSDMA), Bhubaneswar is transferred and posted as Joint Secretary to Government PR & DW. Department
7. Durjyodhan Bhoi, OAS Gr.A (SB). Ex-Sub-Collector, Malkangiri, now joined in GA & PG Department, is posted as Additional E.O., Zilla Parishad, Kalahandi.
8. Chandrakant Mallick, OAS Gr.A (SB), OSD, O/o the Director of Town Planning, Odisha, Bhubaneswar is transferred and posted as OSD, Odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC), Bhubaneswar on foreign service terms and conditions.
9. The services of Saroj Kumar Panda, OAS Gr.A (SB), Deputy Director, DBC Cell are hereby placed at the disposal of the Water Resources Department for his further posting in Brutanga Irrigation Project, Daspalla and Nayagarh

The Controlling Authorities of the concerned Officers under orders of transfer are hereby directed to relieve the transferred Officers within 7 days of issue of this Notification failing which the concerned officers would be deemed to have been centrally relieved w.e.f. 03.09.2025, read the notification.
