No Cyclonic Fear for Odisha: IMD

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): Amid the scare of the hazardous disease Corona, a slight smile for Odisha, the impending low pressure over South Andaman Sea will have no impact on Odisha and other eastern states, said IMD official last evening.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the low pressure area expected to form over South Andaman Sea on April 30 is likely to will into a depression and move along Andaman and Nicobar Islands towards Myanmar coast between April 30 and May 3. It will have no impact over Odisha and not hit the state, said ditector general, IMD, Mrutyunjay Mohapatra.
