New speed limit for twin cities

(Reporters Today, Bhubaneswar): After the strict enforcement of on-road traffic regulations,now the Twin City Commissionerate Police issued an order enforcing speed limits for vehicles on roads in its jurisdiction.

The order state that, light and heavy vehicles can run at maximum speed limit of 50 km per hour, except on national highway from Palasuni to Balikuda, where the speed limit is 70 km per hour, for two-wheelers the speed limit has been kept at 50 km per hourFor 2- wheelers – 50 KMPH.

Drivers can be prosecuted above these limits,tweeted the commissionerate police.
