New parking fee implemented at Puri Bhakta Nivas

Puri : A new parking fee has been implemented by the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) at Bhakta Nivas in Puri from today.

Earlier, the decision was made to charge Rs 500 per vehicle for 24-hour parking. Now the revised fee of Rs 240 will come into effect from today.This decision was taken in a meeting of the management committee held in Puri.

A few days ago, the parking fee for four-wheelers at Gundicha Bhakta Nivas, Niladri Bhakta Nivas, Purushottam Bhakta Nivas and Nilachal Bhakta Nivas. had been increased to Rs 500 by the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA), which led to controversy and criticism among the devotees and tourists.

After discussions in the management committee meeting held yesterday, the parking fee has now been reduced.
