Naveen Thanks BJD Workers, Congratulates BJP’s Jay Dholakia

Bhubaneswar: BJD President Naveen Patnaik has expressed gratitude to party workers and supporters for their efforts in the Nuapada by-election, despite the party’s setback. He also congratulated BJP candidate Jay Dholakia on his victory, hoping that the newly elected MLA will work towards the development of Nuapada.

“I express my heartfelt gratitude. Your commitment and spirit are the true strength of our party. I also extend my congratulations to the BJP candidate on the victory, and I sincerely hope he will honour this mandate by bringing meaningful development to Nuapada,” Patnaik posted on X.

Emphasising the importance of democratic values, Patnaik said, “Elections come and go, but our values and respect for people’s faith must remain. It’s the responsibility of our institutions to uphold our democratic right of free and fair elections.”

He praised BJD workers for their dedication and reiterated that the party will continue working for the rights and welfare of the people of Odisha, drawing inspiration from the legacy of Biju Babu.
