Naveen Patnaik to Visit Delhi to Be With Ailing Brother

Bhubaneswar: Leader of Opposition and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president Naveen Patnaik will travel to New Delhi on April 10 to be with his elder brother, Prem Patnaik, who recently underwent a major heart surgery.

According to party sources, Prem Patnaik underwent the procedure on April 7 and is currently recovering at a private hospital in the national capital under the supervision of a team of cardiologists. His condition is reported to be stable but requires close medical monitoring.

Naveen Patnaik, who has been in Bhubaneswar, is expected to spend a few days in New Delhi with his family members during his brother’s recovery period.
