Naveen Patnaik Expresses Grief Over SCB Medical Fire Tragedy

Bhubaneswar: Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik has expressed deep grief over the tragic fire incident at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack that reportedly claimed ten lives and left several others injured late Sunday night.

In a social media post, Patnaik conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls. He also wished a speedy recovery for those injured in the incident.

Describing the tragedy as extremely heartbreaking, the former Chief Minister urged the state government to ensure that the injured receive the best possible medical treatment.

Patnaik also informed that he would visit the hospital. He further directed the Mayor of Cuttack and the Tangi-Choudwar MLA to reach the hospital and extend necessary assistance to the victims and their families.
