Naveen Patnaik Appoints 17 BJD Leaders to Oversee Nuapada Bye-Election Strategy

Bhubaneswar: In a strategic move ahead of the Nuapada Assembly bye-election, Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has appointed 17 senior party leaders to coordinate sectoral organisational activities and strengthen the party’s campaign machinery.

The appointed leaders have been tasked with executing the party’s electoral strategy, mobilising grassroots support, and ensuring a strong performance in the upcoming poll.

Those appointed include Padmanabha Behera, Ashok Chandra Panda, Mahesh Sahoo, Sumitra Jena, Sulochana Das, Sarmistha Sethi, Mahidhar Rana, Raghuram Padal, Manas Madkami, Jhina Hikaka, Sananda Marandi, Rupesh Kumar Panigrahi, Benudhar Pradhan, Debashish Pattnaik, Iswar Panigrahi, Subrat Singh, and Dushmant Naik.

According to the party, these leaders will coordinate various sectoral and organisational responsibilities to ensure seamless implementation of the BJD’s election strategy and contribute to the party’s targeted victory in Nuapada.
