Narrow Escape for 50 Picnickers as Bus Lost Control
(Pramit Pramathes) Bhubaneswar: A narrow escape for a bus with almost 50 picnickers. Reports says, the passengers of the bus were students who had gone for a picnic to Daringbadi from the capital.
The accident took place in a ghat on Ganjam-Kandhamal border. The bus Rangeela, bearing registration number, OD02 BG-4411.
The driver lost control in the ghats after one tyre of the bus burst. The bus was left hanging from the cliff. The passengers of the bus safely escaped from the emergency exit of the vehicle. Fire brigades and Sorada police rushed to the spot.
