Monsoon to cover entire Odisha in 2 days

Bhubaneswar: A deep depression has formed in the Bay of Bengal. The deep depression is slowly proceeding in the North east direction towards West Bengal and adjoining coast of Bangladesh. It is moving at a speed of 18kmph. Gradually it is expected to move in the North and North east direction.
In the coming 12 hours it is likely to weaken into a depression. The IMD predicted that in the next 24 hours it will evolve into a well-marked low pressure. Similarly, the pre-monsoon rains are ongoing in the state. The southwestern monsoon winds are prevailing in the state.
Monsoon has entered the three districts of Malkangiri, Koraput and Gajapati in Odisha. The monsoon has also touched several parts of Nabarangpur and Ganjam districts. Monsoon has also arrived in some places of Kandhamal, Khorda and Puri. The IMD has issued orange warning alert to 11 districts in Odisha.
In the coming two days, the monsoon will touch all parts of Odisha.
