Monsoon session of OLA to commence from September 18

Bhubaneswar: The Monsoon Session of Odisha Assembly will reportedly commence from September 18 to continue till September 25. However, the formal notification in this regard is yet to be released.
This year, there are likely to be a total of 7 working days in the monsoon session. During this session the opposition will likely question the government about the deteriorating law and order situation in the state.
Especially the Opposition is expected to stage ruckus over the FM College student death incident, Balanga student burning incident, Special OTET question paper leak issue, Gopalpur sexual abuse case, Mahanadi water dispute issues and Polavaram issue among others.
Besides, the state government may plan to bring many important bills.
