Miscreants Throw Acid on 7 Cows

Berhampur: In a shocking instance of barbarity, miscreants threw acid on seven cows in the Maruti Vihar area of Gandhinagar in Berhampur, Ganjam district of Odisha recently.

The perpetrators allegedly carried out the attack because as per their claim the cows and calves had broken a fence.

A complaint has been filed with the Berhampur Town Police Station against the person who threw the acid.

Members of the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal discussed the incident with the police.

The cows have been rescued and are undergoing treatment. The incident has sparked a heated debate in the local area, highlighting concerns about animal safety, particularly given the revered status of cows in Hinduism.
