Minor girl kidnapped in Bhadrak

Basudevpur: In a shocking incident, a minor girl was abducted while she was playing outside her house. The incident of the minor girl getting kidnapped happened on Saturday evening in Radhanathpur village under Basudevpur Chudamani Marine police station limits in Bhadrak district of Odisha.

The girl has been identified as the daughter of Sadananda Mallick. She was playing along with her sister Subhashree.

According to reports, some miscreants kidnapped the nine-year-old minor girl when she was playing along with her sister outside her house. Subhashree had gone inside the house for a short while. At this time the minor girl was alone.

At this time, two miscreants came in a bike and kidnapped the daughter of Mallick. As she cried for help, Subhashree came out of her house, only to find her being taken by the miscreants.

Police rushed to the spot on receiving information and started an investigation. The family members of the minor girl who was kidnapped in Bhadrak, lodged a formal complaint under the relevant sections of BNS.

The Additional Superintendent of Police (Addtl SP) and SDPO also reached the spot to look into the matter. Search is underway to locate the minor.

However, the reason behind the kidnapping is yet to be ascertained as the family members have not received any ransom call. The family denied having enmity with anyone.
