Minor boy missing from Mahanadi

Cuttack: In a tragic incident, a minor boy reportedly went missing in the Mahanadi River in Cuttack of Odisha yesterday. He went missing in the Mahanadi near Kaliaboda area of Cuttack.

The missing boy has been identified as a Class 9 student from Sikharpur area.

As per reports, the boy went missing in the River yesterday in the evening hours. After getting information, the fire department personnel reached the spot and initiated a search operation. However, after a fanatic search they could not trace out the boy in the night.

They had to stop the search operation in the night. Today morning, the search operation has again been started. By the time this report was written, the minor boy had not been found while the search operation was still underway.
