Mayurbhanj: Massive fire breaks out in saree showroom

Udala: A massive fire broke out at a cloth showroom in Udala of Mayurbhanj district late last night. Sarees worth Rs 70 lakh were reduced to ashes as the fire broke out.

According to information, after three hours of relentless efforts the fire brigade succeeded in dousing the fire.

The security guard noticed smoke bellowing out of the shop while closing it.

A crowd rushed to the spot hearing the pleas of the security guard. The fire brigade was called and reached the spot and doused the fire with much difficulty.

Though the exact reason behind the fire is not known, it is suspected that it might have been due to a short circuilt.
