Maoist camp busted in Odisha border

Bijapur: In a major success to the armed forces, a Maoist camp has been busted in the Odisha Chhattisgarh border area and a large amount of arms and ammunitions have been seized.
According to reports, during a joint operation, a large amount of Maoist material was seized from the Bijapur area of Chhattisgarh. The police have seized the materials hidden by Maoists and have managed to avert the plans large-scale explosion.
A joint team of Cobra, CPRPF and Bijapur police seized all this from near the KGH hill. During the raid, 51 grenade launchers, 100 bundles of wire, 50 steel pipes, 20 iron plates were seized. During the operation, five IEDs were also recovered and deactivated by the security personnel.
