Manmohan Samal to Become Odisha BJP President Again

Bhubaneswar: Manmohan Samal is set to retain his position as the Odisha State President of the BJP.

Today, he was the sole candidate to file his nomination for the post, paving the way for his re-election.

The nomination process took place at the party’s state headquarters in Bhubaneswar, in the presence of central observers, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.

With no other nominations submitted, his re-election appears imminent.

Notably, Samal had previously taken over as the Odisha BJP Chief on March 23, 2023, when BJP National President JP Nadda appointed him, replacing Samir Mohanty. The official announcement of his re-election is expected tomorrow.
