Man hacks younger brother to death

Surjit kumar Dhal,Paradip, March 24: In a ghastly act, a man hacked his younger brother to death on Thursday morning  in the port city of Paradip.

The incident took place at quarter no NB-25 of Nuabazar colony area of Paradip.

The deceased has been identified as Sudipta Swain (32).

According to police sources, Sudipta had an altercation with his elder brother Pradipta Swain over some issue during which the latter attacked him with a sharp weapon.

The neigbours rushed Sudipta to PPT Hospital in a critical condition where he succumbed to his injuries.

Paradip police made arrangements for postmortem of the body.

The accused has been arrested and being interrogated, informed ASP Bishnu Charan Mishra.
