Man dies of electrocution after coming in contact with live wire

Ganjam: In a saddening incident, a man died of electrocution while opening the tent after the immersion ceremony of Lord Ganesh on Saturday. The incident happened in Ghatipalli village under Tarasingi police station in Ganjam district.
According to information, while removing the decoration tent a man came in contact with a live wire and died of electrocution.
The deceased has been identified as Silu Behera of Ghatipalli village.
Locals rescued him from the spot and admitted him to Bhanjanagar Primary Healthcare Centre (PHC). Unfortunately, the doctor declared him brought dead.
A complaint has been registered at Tarasingi police station in this regard, and the police is investigating the incident. However, while the Ganesh Puja and Bhasani work in the village was going well, such a heartbreaking incident took place during the opening of the tent, the locals are saddened.

One Priyanshu Pritam Dasbabu, the son of Laxmi Narayan Dasbabu of Siadimal village, had gone to the school along with his friends for the Ganesh Puja celebration.
As part of the Ganesh Puja celebrations, the students were busy in dancing and making merry. Dasbabu, a class IX student, was also having a good time with his friends and was dancing. However, he collapsed on the ground all of a sudden.
One of the teachers who saw Dasbabu lying on the ground soon rushed to the spot and alerted others after finding him in a senseless state.
