Low-Pressure Expected to Intensify Into a Depression Today

Bhubaneswar:  India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning to fishermen along the Odisha coast as the low pressure over the Bay of Bengal is likely to turn into a depression today.

As per the IMD, the depression would move northwestwards and may intensify into a deep depression over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal off the Andhra Pradesh coast on November 16.

Today, squally weather with gusty surface wind speed reaching 45-55 kmph gusting to 65 kmph is very likely over Westcentral Bay of Bengal.
