Lightning and Gusty Winds Expected in Several Districts
Odisha will experience light to moderate rainfall across districts from Day-1 to Day-7, according to the Meteorological Centre Bhubaneswar.
The forecast includes thunderstorm alerts for the first five days, followed by stable conditions.
Officials confirmed isolated thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds reaching 30–40 kmph between Day-1 and Day-5. Districts under watch have been advised to remain alert and take precautionary measures. The warnings highlight the possibility of sudden weather changes that could impact outdoor activities, transport, and agriculture.
From Day-6 to Day-7, the forecast shows no warning, indicating calmer weather conditions across the state. Authorities emphasised that residents should remain cautious during the initial period and follow safety guidelines during thunderstorms.
