KV Singh Deo Warns Against Fraud in His Name

Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singhdeo cautioned the public after reports emerged that fraudsters were collecting money by misusing his name.
He confirmed that a case has been registered at the Cyber Crime police station based on complaints and evidence, including the phone number 7377352449 used in the scam.
Singhdeo issued strict instructions to the police to arrest the culprits immediately. He emphasised that such fraudulent activities will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Officials urged citizens to remain vigilant. They advised that if anyone receives calls demanding money or notices misuse of Singhdeo’s identity, they should immediately inform the police and lodge a complaint. The Deputy CM stressed that people must verify all details before transferring money to unknown individuals to avoid falling victim to fraud.
The warning comes after victims reported attempts to exploit Singhdeo’s position as Deputy CM and Minister of Agriculture, Farmers’ Empowerment, and Energy. Authorities assured that strong action will follow against those responsible for defaming public office and cheating citizens.
