Kendrapara Shubhashree Death Case: Mystery Remains Unsolved After 5 Days

Kendrapara: Five days after Shubhashree Das of Rajupur village under Rajnagar police station limits went missing and her body was reportedly found in a river, police are yet to determine what led to her death.

Police have reportedly brought eight people, including three members of Shubhashree’s family, to the police station and have been questioning them for the past two days.

Meanwhile, the Kendrapara SP has not made any on-camera statement regarding the case.

Fire Services personnel have been searching the Hansua River for the past two days, but have yet to find any further trace of the body. Amid the uncertainty, photographs purportedly showing Shubhashree’s body have been circulating on social media.

According to eyewitness claims, the body was allegedly tied to a stone and thrown into the middle of the river. However, police have not provided any clear information confirming the claim.

With no clear answers emerging despite questioning eight people, questions are now being raised over the handling of the case.
