JP Nadda Arrives in Odisha for Two-Day Visit

Bhubaneswar: Union Health and Family Welfare Minister and BJP National President JP Nadda arrived in Odisha on a two-day visit today. He was received at Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Bhubaneswar by BJP Odisha unit president Manmohan Samal and other senior party leaders.
Nadda is set to participate in a summit organized by the National Health Mission (NHM) in Puri on February 28 (Friday). He will stay overnight at the Konark Eco-Retreat in Puri district before inaugurating the 9th National Summit on Good, Replicable Practices and Innovation in Public Healthcare System in India at 10 AM in the Holy Town. He will also unveil the report of the 16th Common Review Mission during the event.

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling are expected to attend the inaugural session of the two-day summit. The NHM summit, first held in 2013, has since become a key platform for sharing healthcare innovations across the country.
Following the event, Nadda will visit the Jagannath Temple at around 2 PM before returning to Bhubaneswar in the afternoon. He will spend some time at the State Guest House before departing for New Delhi from BPIA at 7 PM on Friday.
