Jitendra Singh to Launch Month-Long Digital Pension Campaign

Union Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Dr Jitendra Singh, will launch the fifth nationwide Digital Life Certificate (DLC) Campaign in New Delhi tomorrow. Organised by the Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare, the month-long drive will run across India until November 30.
The initiative aims to simplify life certificate submission for pensioners through digital services, particularly face authentication using the Jeevan Pramaan app.

The campaign is being conducted with the support of public sector banks, India Post Payments Bank, UIDAI, pensioners’ associations and various government departments. Special arrangements will be made for pensioners aged 80 and above, women and those with health difficulties. Doorstep and home-based facilities will also be provided to elderly and physically unfit pensioners who cannot visit campaign centres.
