Jayadev Jena’s Son Sangram Succumbs to COVID-19

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): Sangram Jena, son of former Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee President Jayadev Jena, died of COVID-19 at a hospital in Hyderabad, this morning. He was 43. He was shifted to the healthcare facility through air ambulance in May after his condition deteriorated due to COVID-19 related complications.

Earlier, he was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar, where ECMO treatment was not available. Sangram Jena was the former Odisha Pradesh Youth Congress President.
