Jajpur: Man found dead at Railway Station

Jajpur: In a tragic incident a man was found dead while his three year old daughter was recovered in a critical condition from near the Garh Madhupur Railway Station area in Jajpur district of Odisha today morning. The little girl has been admitted to hospital for treatment in a critical condition.

The deceased man has been identified as Amiya Behera of Thakura village under Puruna Baulamala Panchayat in Jajpur district. The critically injured girl is his daughter.

According to information, Amiya Behera and his 3-year-old daughter were rescued from the Railway station premises of Garh Madhupur in a critical condition and admitted to Dharmashala Medical College.

However, the doctor there pronounced Amiya dead. Medical treatment of the little girl is underway at the hospital.

It is yet to be ascertained whether the condition of the father-daughter is due to any accident or they have fallen victim to a crime.

Police investigation of the incident is underway.
