It’s BJD in Baleswar !

Baleswar (Reporters Today Bureau): The tension in two assembly constituencies in the State of Odisha, Tirtol and Baleswar, is now silenced. The fate of the candidates are now closed in the EVM machine. However, after the marathon campaign of all the leaders and ministers in the poll arena, the BJP has somehow lost both seats.
Earlier, everyone was aware that the Tirtol constituency was going to the BJD. However, amid ongoing tensions between the BJD and the BJP over the Baleswar constituency, political analysts say the BJD has finally won the seat. The BJP won the Baleswar Sadar constituency in the last general election. There, after the untimely demise of MLA Madan Mohan Dutta, the BJP has fielded Dutta’s son Manas from the seat to win the sympathy of the people. In addition, Baleswar MP Pratap Sarangi is popular. He has been campaigning there to try to attract people to the saffron party.
In addition, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi, BJP National Vice President Baijayant Panda were there to make every effort to attract the people. The BJP made it a chance to get the sympathy of the people by taking the unfortunate statement of the “burnt transformer” legislature against the late MLA. The BJP candidate and the son of the late MLA were also seen crying at a press conference over the BJD’s irresponsible statement. Similarly, MP Aparajita Sarangi tried to attract people to the BJP by doing things like buying toothbrush sticks from general shops, going to the dhaba and baking bread.
Similarly, one of the two factions of the BJD was campaigning for the party but it did all the works to defeat the BJD. Strategic planning for the team’s defeat began with the selection of candidates. Candidates and their supporters, who were denied tickets, were incited to anti-party activities. The goal was to bring down one of the leading BJD leaders and the chief minister’s favorite leader. The Congress was the biggest contributor to the BJD’s victory. As usual, the Congress left the field as the state Congress had a major deal with the BJD. As a result, all Congress votes went to the BJD, which is playing a key role in the BJD’s victory, say political analysist.
