Indian Railways issues important train alert for passengers

Bhubaneswar: The Indian Railways has issued an important train alert for the passengers regarding the short-termination and diversion of several trains.
In view of safety related modernization works over Jaraikela – Manoharpur Downline section of Chakradharpur Division of South Eastern Railway, repercussions on some train services passing through East Coast Railway are as below:
Short-termination of trains:
- The train Nos. 12871 Howrah-Titlagarh Express and Train no.22861, Howrah-Kantabaji Ispat exp, leaving from Howrah on 30.08.2025, 06.09.2025, 13.09.2025,20.09.2025, 27.09.2025 & 04.10.2025 will be short terminated at Tata. The train services between Tata to Titlagarh and Tata to Kantabanji will remain cancelled, for these two trains.
- The train No. 12872 Titlagarh- Howrah Express, leaving from Titlagarh and train No. 22862, Kantabaji – Howrah, Ispat exp leaving from Kantabanji, on dates 30.08.2025, 06.09.2025, 13.09.2025,20.09.2025, 27.09.2025 & 04.10.2025 will be short terminated at Rourkela. The train services between Rourkela to Howrah will remain cancelled, for these two trains.
Diversion of train:
- Train No.18478, Yog Nagari Rishikesh – Puri express, originating on dates 29.08.2025, 05.09.2025,12.09.2025, 19.09.2025, 26.09.2025 & 03.10.2025 will run on diverted route i.e via Brajaraj nagar, Jharusguda road, Sambalpur City, Cuttack instead of its original route i.e Brajaraj Nagar, Jharusguda junction, Rourkela, Tata, Hijli, Bhadrak, Cuttack.
