Indian, Chinese troops face off in Ladakh, issue resolved after talks

(Reporters Today): Soldiers of Indian Army and people’s Liberation Army of China were engaged in confrontation near the border after dawn in Ladakh on Wednesday. The face-off was over following delegation level talks between the two sides, the Indian Army said. Reportedly, the Chinese troops had objected to Indian Army’s presence when their patrol was moving around the northern bank of Pangong Tso lake here. The confrontation which began early morning lasted till the evening as both sides called for back off.
