IND beat ENG by 2-wickets to take 2-0 lead

Tilak Varma’s 72 helped India to clinch a two-wicket win in close encounter in Chennai against England in the second of the five-match T20 series on Saturday.

Earlier Barring Ravi Bishnoi, all of the seven bowlers India tried on the evening in Chennai got wickets. For the visitors, England captain Jos Buttler top-scored with 45 before falling to Axar Patel. Besides him, the only real spark came from Brydon Carse, who scored 31 before getting run out.

India has taken 2-0 lead in the five-match T20I series. The third T20I is scheduled on Tuesday next week in Rajkot.
