IMD Issues Yellow Warning for Thunderstorms in Two Odisha Districts

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday issued a yellow warning for two districts in Odisha, forecasting light rain and thunderstorms accompanied by lightning in the next three hours.

According to a nowcast warning released by the Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar at 8 am, squally weather conditions are likely to affect Puri and Jagatsinghpur districts.

The IMD has advised residents in the affected areas to remain alert, closely monitor weather updates, and be prepared to move to safer locations to avoid lightning strikes and related risks.
