IMD Issues Yellow Warning for Dense Fog in Four Odisha Districts

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow warning for dense fog in four districts of Odisha for December 20.

According to the IMD forecast, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Kandhamal and Sambalpur are likely to experience dense fog during the early morning hours at one or two places.

The weather agency further stated that on December 21, dense fog conditions are expected to persist in three districts — Sundargarh, Jharsuguda and Sambalpur, for which a yellow warning has also been issued.

IMD has advised residents and commuters in the affected districts to remain cautious, as reduced visibility may impact road and rail travel during morning hours.
