Illegal Structures Housing Bangladeshi Migrants Demolished in Jagatsinghpur

Jagatsinghpur: Authorities have begun demolishing illegal structures built on government land to shelter Bangladeshi migrants in Berahampur, under the jurisdiction of Tarikind Beat House and Jagatsinghpur Police Station.

According to officials, the eviction drive is part of an ongoing operation to clear encroachments and identify individuals residing in the area without proper documentation. Verification of the migrants’ identities is currently underway, and further legal action will be taken based on the findings.

Authorities said the operation will continue until all unauthorized structures are removed and the land is fully reclaimed.
