High Alert in Cuttack Following Red Fort Blast in Delhi

Cuttack: In the wake of the powerful explosion near Delhi’s Red Fort Metro Station that killed and injured several people, the Central Range and all districts under Cuttack have been placed on high alert.
Senior police officials have directed all district units to remain vigilant, enhance patrolling, and step up checking at key public places such as markets, bus stands, and railway stations. Security has been tightened around vital installations and crowded areas to prevent any untoward incident.

The police have urged citizens to stay alert and immediately report any suspicious activities, persons, or unattended objects to the nearest police station.
Additional security personnel have been deployed in major areas of Cuttack, including Badambadi Bus Stand, the railway station, and Barabati Stadium. Surveillance and coordination with intelligence units have also been intensified.
Authorities clarified that the alert is a precautionary measure following the Delhi blast and assured that there is no immediate threat to Odisha.
