Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely over districts of Odisha till Sept 13

Bhubaneswar: Heavy to very heavy rainfall and thunderstorm activity with lightning very likely over the districts of Odisha during September 7 and September 13, informed India Meteorological Department (IMD) today.
According to the weather department, the upper air cyclonic circulation over northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining west central Bay of Bengal off south Odisha and north Andhra Pradesh coasts between 3.1 and 5.8 km above mean sea level persists. Under its influence heavy to very heavy rainfall would occur in Odisha for seven days.

- YELLOW WARNING: Heavy rain and thunderstorm with lightning accompanied with gusty surface wind speed reaching 30- 40 kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi and Balangir.
