Half-Charred body found near school in Ganjam

Ganjam: A half-charred body of a young man was found near Jagannath Vidyapeeth in Badagada area under Shergad police limits in Ganjam district.

The deceased identity is yet to be ascertained.

As per sources, some locals spotted the body in an open field with 70 percent burn injuries and immediately alerted the police about the same.

On being informed, the police and the scientific team reached the spot and started an investigation into the matter.

It is suspected that the youth may have been killed and brought to the spot and poured petrol and set on fire.
