Governor Extends Utkal Diwas Greetings, Pays Tribute to State’s Founders

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati on Tuesday extended warm greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Utkal Diwas, celebrated annually on April 1.
In a social media message, the Governor paid tribute to the visionaries who played a key role in the formation of a separate Odisha state, acknowledging their immense contributions to the preservation and promotion of the state’s language, literature, and culture.

He urged people to come together to further strengthen Odisha’s identity and pride, highlighting the significance of the day, which marks the state’s formation on April 1, 1936.
“Greetings and congratulations to all the people of Odisha on this special occasion. I pay my deepest respects to the great souls who made unparalleled contributions to the creation of a separate Odisha, bringing recognition to our language, literature, and culture. Let us unite and work towards strengthening Odisha’s identity and pride,” the Governor said in his message.
