Girls outshine boys in Matric exam in Odisha

Surjit Kumar Dhal, Cuttack, May 21: Girls outshone boys in the matriculation examination conducted by Board of Secondary Education in Odisha the results of which were announced on Tuesday.
The pass percentage in the examination was nearly 70.78.
The pass percentage of girls was higher than that of boys.
A total 3, 97, 125 students who appeared in the examination cleared it. This included 2.5 lakh girls.
The pass percentage was the highest in Jharsuguda distict.
