Ghaziabad Newlywed Leaves Husband Within Two Weeks, Allegedly Over Relationship With Boyfriend

A newly married woman in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, has reportedly left her husband less than two weeks after their wedding, following allegations that she wanted to continue her relationship with another man.
According to the complaint filed by the husband, the couple got married on July 11 in the Kaushambi area. He claimed that about a week into the marriage, he learned that his wife was still communicating with another man. When questioned, she allegedly said the man was her boyfriend and that she had no intention of ending their relationship.
The husband said he subsequently informed both families about the issue. According to his account, the dispute between the two families intensified, after which his wife allegedly left the matrimonial home and went to her parents’ residence on July 28.
The husband has since approached the police, alleging that his wife’s family also demanded ₹1 lakh and threatened to file cases against his family if the money was not paid. These allegations are part of the complaint and have not been independently verified.
Police are examining the complaint and the allegations raised by both parties. The incident has attracted attention after reports of the woman leaving her husband shortly after the marriage emerged.
