Former Minister Kartika Taria is No More

Birmaharajpur (Pramit Pramathes Satpathy): Former minister Kartika Prasad Taria, 70, has passed away. He died at his daughter’s house in Burla at 9.45pm last night. A few days before, he was diagnosed with Jaundice. After treatment and recovery in Bhubaneswar and Hyderabad, he was residing at his third daughter Sanghamitra’s house.

Late Taria’s wife Shailasuta, 5 daughters Nivedita, Sanghamitra, Arundhati, Anuradha and Pallavi, 4 sons-in-law, and family members were present near his death bed. His body reached Birmaharajpur in Subarnapur district at night and cremated on Tuesday.
