Former Bihar Minister’s Father Brutally Murdered

Patna: Jitan Sahani, father of Mukesh Sahani, leader of the Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP), was reportedly discovered murdered at his ancestral residence in Darbhanga district, Bihar. Police disclosed that Sahani’s body was found this morning in his room at his home in Biraul area, bearing multiple stab wounds and cuts on his chest and stomach.

Senior Superintendent of Police Jagunath Reddy stated that a team of senior officers has arrived at the scene and is currently investigating the incident. Mukesh Sahani, a former Bihar government minister, leads the VIP, which is a coalition member of the INDIA bloc.
