Federal Bank Organises CSR Health Check-up Camp in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The Chandrasekharpur branch of Federal Bank successfully organised a health check-up camp under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, aimed at promoting preventive healthcare and community well-being. The camp, which was open to the general public, was held under the leadership of Branch Manager and Branch Head, Ms Upasana Dwivedi, and was inaugurated with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp.
Noted social worker Shri Satyakam Mahanti attended the programme as the chief guest. Several eminent personalities were present on the occasion, including Shri Ambika Prasad Nanda, former CSR Head of Tata Steel Odisha; Shri Ajit Kumar Babu, retired Chief Engineer, Works Department, Government of Odisha; Shri Jayant Kumar Swain, Managing Director and Secretary of Nilachal Gramya Mahila Cooperative; Shri Rituraj, Regional Head, Bhubaneswar region; Shri Biranchi Raut, social worker and CSR enthusiast; Shri Pradeep Dwivedi, Director of Silverline Trans and Power; Ms Mimansha Mishra, social worker; and Dr Premananda Pattnaik, MBBS, MD, General Physician, along with a medical team from Apollo Hospitals.
The primary objective of the camp was to create awareness about preventive healthcare and to provide free medical check-ups to the public. The Apollo Hospitals medical team conducted various health tests, including blood sugar, blood pressure, height and weight measurement, BMI assessment, pulse ECG, Pulmonary Function Test (PFT), and Bone Mineral Density (BMD) examination.
The dignitaries present appreciated Federal Bank’s initiative and emphasised the importance of such health camps in building a healthy society. They noted that good health forms the foundation of a happy, successful, and productive life.
On the occasion, Federal Bank reiterated its strong commitment to corporate social responsibility through continued efforts in healthcare, social welfare, and community development initiatives.
The health camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from bank customers, local residents, and the general public. The successful event conveyed a strong message on the importance of health, service, and social responsibility.
