Ekta Vishnoi Bags Three Golds at World Powerlifting Championships

Indian Revenue Service officer Ekta Vishnoi has clinched three gold medals at the World Masters Classic and Equipped Powerlifting Championships held in Nevada, USA.

Competing in the 57kg category, Vishnoi recorded a combined lift of 362.5kg, including 130kg in the squat, 72.5kg in the bench press and 160kg in the deadlift. Her impressive performance secured gold medals in the squat, deadlift and overall total events, placing her ahead of competitors from Canada and Japan.

Vishnoi has also made significant contributions to Indian sports administration, having previously headed the Fit India Mission and served as Deputy Director General of the Sports Authority of India.
